Granted, taking a trip on your day off isn't the greatest, but I have made due with some great excursions around the bay area. So my thought was what about the rest of the country?
Even Connecticut has some great bus routes but what about Ohio? Did you know you can from Tulsa, OK to Kansas City, MO in a day?
Yes, it may take some time on a Greyhound bus, but what's stopping you from a little travel? There are deals out there to go from Pendleton to Salt Lake City.
I am always surprised when I find myself having to explain to people how I get going...you know Planes, Trains, and Automobiles do work really well.
The one item that is surprising me the most is how inexpensive the bus system is. A trip to Sacramento is only $27 on Greyhound where as Amtrak Captial Corridor is $40.
Sometimes you should just leave the driving to other people :)
